Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 April 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Push Tools ("Push Tools", "we", "us") handles information when you use our website and tools. We've tried to keep it short and readable.

The short version

We don't require an account to use Push Tools. We don't sell your data. We collect the minimum we need to run the site and understand roughly how it's used.

Information we collect

Information you provide to a tool. Some tools accept input (for example, text to convert, a URL to analyse, or a subreddit to monitor). This input is processed to return a result and, where necessary, stored so the tool can function. Do not submit sensitive personal information to any tool.

Usage analytics. We use privacy-friendly analytics (Plausible) to understand aggregate usage — page views, referrers, approximate country, device type. Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect personal data.

Technical data. Our hosting providers receive standard technical information such as IP address and user agent as part of serving the site. This is used for security, abuse prevention, and basic operation.

Cookies

Push Tools does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. Essential cookies or local storage may be used by individual tools to remember your preferences within that tool (for example, keeping a list you're building on the page).

How we use information

  • To operate the tools and return results.
  • To monitor and improve performance, reliability, and security.
  • To understand, in aggregate, which tools people find useful.
  • To prevent abuse and comply with legal obligations.

Third parties

We use third-party infrastructure providers to host and run Push Tools (including hosting, database, and analytics providers). These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and security standards. Some individual tools may call third-party APIs to return results — where that's the case, it will be apparent from the tool itself.

Data retention

We keep data only as long as needed to operate the tool you used or to meet legal and security requirements. Input to stateless tools is typically not retained beyond the request.

Your rights

If you're in the UK or EU, you have rights under UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because most of our tools don't require an account, we typically hold little or no personal data tied to you as an individual.

Children

Push Tools is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
